Transshipment handling

Our transhipment service covers the full transfer process — receiving cargo from one carrier, handling customs transit documentation, temporary storage if needed, and loading onto the onward carrier. We manage sea-to-air and air-to-air transfers through Velana International Airport (MLE).

Most general cargo, perishables, and non-restricted goods can be transhipped. We'll assess eligibility based on commodity type, origin/destination, and airline routing. Restricted or sanctioned goods are not accepted.

You'll typically need the original airway bill or bill of lading, a commercial invoice, packing list, and any commodity-specific certificates. We handle all local transit documentation on your behalf.

Yes. We process all customs transit formalities at MLE so your cargo can move through without clearance delays. This includes filing declarations and coordinating with Maldives Customs.

We pre-plan connections, coordinate closely with airlines and port operators, and use our local expertise to fast-track handling. Most transhipments are completed within 24–48 hours.
